Panoramic view of the Convent of Grande-Chartreuse, founded in the 11th century, nestled at the foot of the Grand Som (2933 m) in the French Alps. The printed text mentions the location of Dauraine. On the back, a handwritten letter dated July 15, 1916, addressed to Prosper, mentions a trip to the Chartreuse and correspondence with the Johnson family in Troyes.
