View of the Prefecture in Grenoble, an imposing neoclassical building with ornate façade and dormer roof. Printed text at the bottom: « GRENOBLE. — The Prefecture. » and « Special Edition « Paris-Grenoble » ». Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Épicie Gauthin in Romans, with a postmark from Romans (R 40) dated 12-7-1907 and a post office stamp.
