View of Place Grenette in Grenoble with the Water Castle in the foreground, trams and vintage cars in circulation, and urban buildings with classical facades. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Mme Damba' in Vaulx-en-Velin, dated 20 July 1945, with a 1 franc French postage stamp and a postmark from Grenoble.
