Description

View of a wooded ravine with waterfalls and rocks, located in Ilkley, Yorkshire. Printed text at the bottom: « This lovely tree-clad ravine with its waterfalls and little wooden bridges lies to the west of the town. It is named after the Heber family who once owned the estate and old hall below the Ghyll. ». On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Nicole in Villeurbanne, France, dated August 31, 1961, with a 4 pence stamp and a postmark from Harrogate, Yorks.
