Description

Black and white view of the ruins of Hartmannswiller in Alsace, with the intact church in the center and destroyed buildings around it. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated February 1924, addressed to a recipient in Tindé, with a blue 2-sou stamp from the 'pure air' series and a postmark from Soultz-Haut-Rhin.
