Sepia-toned view of a canal flanked by fortifications with a lighthouse in the background, signed 'Ramontena'. Reverse: printed text explaining that the two white towers serve as lights for the white and red sectors. Blue 80-centime stamp canceled in Charente-sur-Mer on July 23, 1951. Handwritten correspondence addressed to Anne Marie in Limoges.
