View of La Couarde beach on the Isle of Ré, with a row of wooden beach huts and bathers on the sand. The back has handwritten text dated July 24, 1934, addressed to 'Dear Jean and Héloïse', mentioning a trip to Paris and a departure for Tours on Saturday, July 24, with a note on the expected return date of August 2.
