Description

Indian inland postcard (INLAND LETTER CARD) with a blue 20 annas stamp, circular cancellation of 'BANKURA' dated 17 October 1953. Handwritten Devanagari text on the front indicates the recipient's address to 'P.O. BIKIPI, PIN 110001'. The reverse bears the inscription 'NO ENCLOSURES ALLOWED' and the recipient's address to 'BANKURA, RURAL DISTRICT'.
