Indian postcard dated 24 July 1942, sent from Ambhara (Delhi) to Sampalpur. The reverse has handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, addressed to Dhelel Ram Hira Lal in Mirzapur, with a mention of the agents' commission. The 9 p. green stamp is canceled with a circular postmark 'AMBHAR DELHI 24 JUL 42 10.45 A.M.' and a rectangular postmark 'INDIA POSTAGE'.
