Description

Indian postcard dated around 1942, sent from Sambhar Lake (Rajasthan) to Ramballbhji Gopikarishanji at Sambhar Lake. The reverse features handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, addressed to a « General Merchant & Commission Agent » in Bhilwara (Mewar), with a green 9 pence stamp and a circular postmark from Sambhar Lake. The front shows a Devanagari inscription and a 9 pence stamp with a portrait of King George VI.
