Description

Postcard dated January 1915, bearing a green 9 pence stamp depicting Queen Victoria, with a circular cancellation indicating 'CALCUTTA'. The reverse features writing in Bengali script, with the recipient's address in Calcutta and a note 'ADDRESS ONLY'. The front is fully covered with cursive Bengali script, with a visible dark stain in the center.
