Description

Indian postcard dated February 16, 1940, franked with a green 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI, with a Malaya postmark. The reverse features a long handwritten letter in Burmese script, with an address also written in Burmese. The stamp is canceled with a circular postmark indicating 'MALAYA' and the date '16 FEB 40'.
