Indian postcard from 1947, stamped 9 pence with portrait of King George VI, sent from Calcutta Airport (postmark '30 JUN 47'). The reverse features handwritten address in Devanagari script, including the recipient's name 'Krishna' and address details in Pune, as well as handwritten annotations in English and Devanagari.
