Description

Indian postcard dated 5 February 1945, sent from Poharajal (Timburi) to Bikaner (Rajasthan). The back bears the red inscription 'KHOJA ALAUDIN ALIBHAI. CHILLIES COMMISSION AGENT. CHUDA. (Kathiawar) B. S. RY.' and handwritten text in Gujarati. The 9 pence stamp depicts King George VI, cancelled with a circular postmark from Poharajal.
