Description

Indian postcard dated 2 June 1942, franked with a green 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI. The handwritten address in Devanagari script is addressed to Bombay. The reverse shows handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with a legible handwritten date: 13.12.1942. Two circular postmarks are present: one from Delhi (2 June 1942) and one from Lahore (19 June 1942).
