Indian postcard dated October 1945, franked with a green 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI. The address is handwritten in English to Kishormal, Nagaur, Marwar. The reverse bears a long handwritten letter in Devanagari script, likely in Hindi, with a handwritten date '1-10-45' at the bottom right. Two black ink circular cancellations are visible: one 'NAGAUR' and one 'MADHAR' with the date 'OCT. 45'.
