Indian postcard dated 27 October 1944, sent from Abdullapur (South Bengal) to Ms. Lan Bux Praklad in Tombor Muchalat, near Patna. The reverse has a long handwritten letter in Bengali script, with a green 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI and a circular cancellation from Abdullapur. The address is handwritten in English.
