Postcard in Devanagari script, dated May 15, 1912, sent from Jodhpur (Rajasthan) to a recipient in Calcutta. The back bears a 3 pence stamp depicting King George V, canceled in Jodhpur and Calcutta, as well as handwritten Devanagari inscriptions and a red signature. The writing on the front is dense and fluid, with curved lines and fine strokes.
