Indian postcard dated April 1950, franked with a green 9 pence stamp depicting a sovereign, with a circular postmark 'AUMER' and the inscription 'ADDRESS ONLY'. The reverse is fully covered with a handwritten message in Tibetan script, with a handwritten address at the bottom right. The front shows dense Tibetan script and a visible white stain.
