Indian postcard dated 4 May 1942, sent from Kalyan to Bithalacadi (Bombay), with a green 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI. The reverse has handwritten local language text (probably Marathi) and a handwritten English address. The circular cancellation 'BOMBAY' is visible, along with a distribution mark '9.0 A.M.' and a partial date '4 MAY 42'.
