Indian postcard dated around 1942, franked with a green 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI, with a postmark from Samlesh Lake. The reverse contains handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, addressed to Gopalji Raut in Jaynagar (Darbhanga), with a date mention of 23-10-43. The recipient's address on the front is handwritten to Rambalbh, Gobhi Kirshana Tota, Samlesh Lake (Raghutane).
