Commercial postcard dated 4 November 1941, sent from Gangapur R.S. (India) to Chapra. The reverse bears a handwritten letter in Devanagari script addressed to Jhakkarram Ramsarupram, grain merchant in Sasaram, with a note of the date 4-99-89. A green 9 pence stamp (India) is affixed and canceled with a circular postmark from Gangapur R.S. and another from Chapra.
