Description

Indian postcard dated 1947, sent from Delhi to Mrs. Badri Lal Singh in Nandailgarh, Rajasthan. The front features a long handwritten letter in Devanagari script. The reverse shows two stamps (3 pence and 1/2 anna) with cancellation 'DELHI POST 47', as well as the recipient's address. The handwriting is fluent and covers most of the front.
