Description

Indian postcard dated January 1st, 1949, sent from Navalgarh to Badri in Murli Dhar, with a 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI. The reverse indicates the publisher Ramchander Baarsidas, banker and commission agent in Sri Ganganagar, with a note in Hindi stating that payments can be made in cash or by cheque. The address is handwritten in English and Hindi.
