Description

Indian postcard dated 1947, with a 10 annas and a 15 annas postage stamp, bearing a circular cancellation 'BIRINDIA'. The reverse features handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with an address and the English text 'POST CARD'. The text on the reverse is partially crossed out in red ink.
