Indian postcard dated 1978, sent by a leprosy patient from Parananur (Chengalpattu, 603502) to a recipient in Allahabad. The reverse contains a handwritten letter requesting financial assistance to celebrate Ramadan, mentioning poverty and lack of income. 15 rupee stamp with tiger motif, visible cancellation.
