Description

Indian postcard dated 1978, sent by G. Ellamma, a leprosy patient in Parananur, Chennai, to M. Naseem Khalil in Allahabad. The reverse contains a handwritten letter where she requests financial assistance, mentioning that she and her husband, also a patient, live in poverty with three children. The 15 rupee stamp with a tiger is canceled.
