Indian postcard dated 1978, sent by a leprosy patient, N.S. Husain, from Paranur in the Chengalpatty district (postal code 603002), to a recipient in Allahabad. The reverse contains a handwritten letter in which the patient, a poor student, asks for financial help for himself and his family. A 15 annas stamp, canceled, is visible at the top right.
