Ancient Indian postcard with Devanagari and English script, indicating 'Baroth' and 'Baranul' at Meerut. Green 1/4 anna stamp with effigy of Queen Victoria, cancelled 'HALF ANNA MADRAS INDIA POSTAGE'. The reverse shows handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with a handwritten date '1313' (corresponding to 1913) and a partially faded postmark.
