Letter sent from Jaipur around 1937, bearing a red 1 anna stamp with portrait of Queen Victoria and a postmark from Jaipur dated 21 April. Handwritten address in English and Devanagari script to Sambhar (Rajasthan), with mention of 'Ramakrishnan' and 'Sambhar (Rajee)' on the reverse. The reverse shows an Indian postage stamp and a Sambhar postmark with partial date.
