Description

Postcard from Eastern India, front printed with the inscription 'EAST INDIA POST CARD' and a ¼ anna stamp. The reverse has a long handwritten correspondence in Bengali script. A circular postmark from Calcutta dated 9 September 1881 is visible, as well as a ¼ anna stamp with cancellation.
