Description

Indian postcard dated 1947, with a green 5 annas stamp depicting the Lion of India, and a circular postmark from Raipur. The reverse bears handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with the recipient's address and the stamp 'REG' indicating a registered mail. The printed text at the top of the reverse mentions 'पोस्ट कार्ड' (postcard) and 'केवल पता' (address only).
