Description

Indian commercial postcard dated around 1961, showing on the front a list of local businesses in Moga (Punjab) such as Hem Raj Gian Chand (wholesaler), Madan Lal Som Datt (mill owner) and Indian National Industries (manufacturer of nuts and machines). The reverse contains handwritten correspondence in Gurmukhi script addressed to Kanwar Sain Som Dutt in Moga, with telephone and telegram references. A green 5 annas stamp is affixed, postmarked with a Moga cancellation.
