Description

Indian postcard from 1964, postmarked with 15 rupees featuring the effigy of the tiger, addressed to Shri Ram Narayan Sharma, lawyer in Talchhapar, near the Kamal Nagar Hospital in Allahabad. The handwritten message, written in English, informs that the sender's daughter, Seelam Sharma, is eager to gain admission to the medical class at the University of Calcutta, and asks the recipient's address to help her secure a place. The reverse side has handwritten text in Hindi and English, with a red mention of 'Refrain'.
