Description

Indian postcard dated around 1940, with a green 9 pence stamp depicting the god Shiva, cancelled with a circular stamp reading 'TANJORE'. The reverse features handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with the fields 'Name', 'Address', 'City', and 'Post' filled in by hand. The front is covered with an indecipherable handwritten message in cursive script.
