Description

Indian 'Reply' type postcard with a green 4 paise stamp depicting the Lion of India, and a handwritten overprint 'SURCHARGED TO 6 PAISE'. The reverse is blank, without text or address, but features dotted lines for writing and a small black spot near the center. The bottom edge of the card is irregular, as if cut by hand.
