Registered postcard dated around 1940, addressed to the Assistant Director of Pensions in the Department of Benevolence in Punjab, Chandigarh. Printed text in English and Devanagari indicates the cost of the envelope (10 paise) and instructions for registration. The reverse indicates the sender (Ram Dal, Jhakindal, Bulandshahr) and specifies that the letter must be handed to a post office officer with receipt. Postmark and post office stamp of Bulandshahr are visible.
