Description

Indian registered envelope dated around 1950, franked with two dark green 0.15 rupee stamps and a 20 paise stamp, with a circular Delhi postmark and a rectangular Calcutta postmark. Handwritten address to the Customs Assistant at the Foreign Post Office, Indra Prastha, New-Delhi. Back: printed header in Hindi and English indicating that the letter must be handed to a postal officer and that receipt must be obtained. Sent by Dr. B.S. Rao, Calcutta.
