Indian postcard dated February 5, 1948, sent from Jharia (Jharkhand) with a 15 annas stamp depicting a tiger. The reverse has handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, addressed to a recipient in Jharia, with a handwritten date of February 5, 1948. The circular cancellation of Jharia is visible, as well as a crossed-out red stamp.
