Description

Pale blue postcard dated around 1970, sent from a leprosy home in Chennai to Allahabad. The front features a handwritten request in English from a young girl suffering from leprosy, asking for charity (zakath) for herself and her family. The back indicates the recipient's address in Allahabad and a 15-rupee stamp with a tiger, canceled at 'OURM'.
