Description

Pale blue postcard from India, dated 1995, sent from Paramanur (Chengalpattu) to a recipient in Bhadur, Allahabad. The reverse contains a handwritten letter in Tamil and English, where the young girl, M. Meena, explains that she is an orphan, her parents are affected by leprosy, and she has no income, requesting charity. The 15-rupee stamp with the tiger is canceled in Rajkot.
