Description

Light blue postcard dated around 1970, sent from Chengalpattu (India) to Allahabad (India) by a deformed leprosy patient requesting financial assistance in the form of zakat. The reverse contains a handwritten message in English and Arabic script, addressed to 'Respected Janab', requesting help and a prayer for his family. A 15-rupee stamp featuring a tiger is affixed at the top right.
