Description

Light blue postcard of a woman with leprosy, dated 1995, sent from India. The reverse contains a handwritten English message in which the sender, N. Jesintha Mary, states she is a disabled and poor woman living alone, and expresses her wishes for the recipient and their family's health. The recipient's address is in Allaiya, India. A 15-rupee stamp with a tiger is affixed at the top right, with partial cancellation.
