Description

Indian postcard from 1995, sent from Chennai (Grandhi Colony) to Bihārat Yron Jitow (Allahabad), with a 15 rupee stamp and postmark of February 3, 1995. The back contains a handwritten letter from a leprosy patient, stating his state of poverty and dependence on Allah, requesting charity for the month of Ramadan and praying for the recipient's family. The recipient's address is clearly written in English and Hindi.
