Pale blue postcard dated February 1st, 1955, sent from Calcutta (stamped 'BALLYAHABAD') to a patient at the leprosy hospital in Madras. The reverse contains a handwritten message from a poor and sick patient, expressing gratitude for the kindness received and wishing a happy Ramzan to the recipient. The recipient's address is in Secunderabad, and the sender's address is in Madras. The Indian postmark is visible.
