Indian registered envelope dated around 1947, addressed to the Branch Manager of the State Bank of India in Ludhiana, sent from Mahilpur Bus Stand, Hoshiarpur. Printed text in English and Devanagari indicates the cost of the envelope (10 paise) and instructions for delivery to a postal officer. 15 paise stamp with portrait and blue circular postmark from Mahilpur, Hoshiarpur.
