Description

Indian register postcard dated 1958, with text in Hindi and English indicating that it must be handed to a post office officer to obtain a receipt. The reverse specifies that the card must be handed to a post office employee to be registered and that the receipt must be obtained. It bears a 5 annas postage stamp and a 10 annas stamp, as well as a circular cancellation of 'CHALU DISTRICT' and a blue 'REGISTERED LETTER' stamp.
