Description

Indian registered envelope dated 3 December 1947, addressed to the Office of the Assistant Collector of Customs at Kotla Marg, New Delhi. Printed text in Hindi and English indicates the envelope cost (10 paise) and instructions for registration. On the back, the sender is identified as Sy. Balwant Singh Hundela, P.O. Langroya, Distt. Hullahund (Pb), with a Hindi instruction that the letter be registered and a receipt obtained. Blue postmark with circular cancellation of HULLUNTA, 3-12-47.
