Description

Indian registered postcard dated around 1950, addressed to the Assistant Collector of Customs (Foreign Posts) at Kotla Road, New Delhi. The front bears the inscription 'REGISTERED LETTER' in English and Devanagari, with a 200 paise stamp and a 40 paise stamp, as well as a circular postmark. The back indicates in Devanagari and English that the letter must be handed over to a postal officer to obtain a receipt.
