Indian registered letter envelope dated 31/10/1966, sent from Ludhiana to New Delhi. Printed text in English and Hindi indicates the cost of the envelope (10 paise) and instructions for registration. On the reverse, instructions in Hindi and English specify that the letter must be handed to a post office officer to obtain a receipt. Postmark of 20 paise and 10 paise applied on the front, with Ludhiana cancellation.
